My little demise...

Been working on my demise again and if you don't know what that means, maybe one day you will.

Here are my struggles, and maybe my fellow writers can help me out.

1) Ending a story.

Why is it so damn hard to wrap things up in a believable way. Things end all the time. TV shows. Jobs. Relationships. Why is it so hard to wrap up a story without throwing all the characters off a cliff?

2) Dialogue.

We simply don't talk like we write and vice versa. My characters always end up coming off as cubists with these long strings of consciousness. My problem is that if my character were real people, frankly they probably wouldn't say much at all.

Thank god for third person omniscient.

To be continued....

Like some one said, first get the start and the end of the story, then filling up the middle part is very easy.
